Terrible prints and does not honor their "100% Customers' Satisfaction Guaranteed" New York, China, China

I ordered a canvas print and when I opened the package was surprised to find the image looked washed out. It looked like maybe the printer had run out of dark ink or the "brightness" was turned way up. The print is 3 feet tall, and from more than 6 or 7 feet away, you can't even make out the facial features. I also noticed that the package was sent fedex from China.

I called the number on the website, and spoke to someone who said they don't handle those problems. The person has to be e-mailed and they are in China. So, using the e-mail address they gave me, and following the instructions on the website to get my "100% Customers' Satisfaction Guaranteed!", I sent the following e-mail:

"I recently received my order from your company and the print did not appear at all like the uploaded file. I am very surprised that someone in your company did not check the print with the original uploaded file. The print looks like the image was altered and the brightness was increased a great amount. Or, it looks like the printer ran out of some darker ink and the image is very bright. The picture I am sending was taken with NO flash and I put it next to it something with color so that you can see how washed out the image is. Please let me know how this will be corrected and contact me with any questions."

The next day, I received the following e-mail:

"Dear customer:
we made the item according to your original image. We never edit anything. Sorry, we can not redo it for you. Thanks!
Sujing"

So much for the guarantee. They probably didn't edit the file, but if they had a problem with their equipment and it produced a poor print, it shouldn't have been sent out.

Buyer beware. The real company is located in China, not New York. When I called, they told me they were really more of an answering service and couldn't do anything for me. And even following their instructions to try to resolve the issue will not get you anywhere. So AVOID THIS COMPANY!

Oh, and if you read the rebuttals written on the other compliant filed here, they couldn't even come up with a fake town for their first post and used Peekskill, NY! What an obvious attempt at damage control!
