Delivery crew damaged tenant's apartment, payment never sent

Last October 2007, my tenant used Aaron's furniture to get furniture for her apartment. The movers came with her things on a Friday night to deliver them. While moving the furniture into the house, they put holes in the wall and ceiling and scratched up a hardwood floor. They also took the front door of the apartment off the hinges, not by taking the rod out, but by unscrewing it from the door frame. In the process they destroyed the furniture too.
I called Aaron's furniture in Malden, MA to find out how I could get the money for the repairs. I was told to have an estimate made out by a contractor. That week I had a contractor make out an estimate for the damages, and I sent a copy to Aaron's that same day.
Two weeks passed and I heard nothing from them, so I called them and was told that they needed another estimate with more details of the repairs. Once again I called the contractor to see if he could make out another one, and he agreed to do so. I sent the new estimate to Aaron's, and still nothing from them. I talked to the manager in Aaron's Malden office, who asked if the contractor was real, because it looked like I had made out the estimate. Yes, the contractor is real; he does his estimates on his computer (small business). I filed a claim with the BBB in December 2007.
The BBB didn't hear from them until February of this year, when they said they were going to pay me for damages. Since then I talked to Craig Ritchie, the Regional Manager of the New England Region, who said that they were going to send out a check for the damages. This was two weeks ago and still nothing. Last week I called him about the check. He said that he was going to check on it and call me back, and still nothing from them.
Landlord ripped off for damages.
