Ripoff consumer rip-off fraud dishonest ripoffs internat

This incident is regarding myself, one of my housemember and AT&T. This incident occured sometime back in September when AT&T was trying to introduce or sell their long distance service to customers, however they called my home one day I wasn't there but my mom spoke to the AT&t representative who asked her if she needed to sign up for their long distance services, but she refused because she can't afford it, But then the representative told her that he will send her a free sample card (pre-paid) so that she can have a try of their long distance service, how it operates, coverage etc. After being persuaded by the representative my mom accepted to have the card sent to our address in my name since our telephone service is in my name.

When the card arrived i say it had my name on it and our phone number, so after a few days of having the card lying around at home we decided to give it a try since it's free to see if we were confertable with the service and maybe consider having their long distance service. It so happened that the card period was up somethime during Sepember month end early October when i received a bill fromAT&T saying i owe them $700 for the calls i had made on the card, which we did not made that much calls to sum up to that, which i refuse to pay because i don't think i should have to pay for no calls since they said it was a free sample.

Now AT&T got some nerves to call me now demanding that i pay them the sum of $700 or they will take the charges up against my credit report.

Now Tell Me Is This Honest!
