Never listen to the representatives from this company Margate

This company is definitely a rip-off. They tell you one thing and then your bill is totally different from what they said it was going to be. I was told that agreed to an extension for my previous account. Come to find out they opened another account, meaning I was paying on two seperate accounts. One account was almost $60 and the other one was reduced to $19 and some odd change. I remember that account, but the extended account I do not remember. They are now saying my account is 6 months behind because they were charging my discover card. I had to cancel my credit card, which caused that account to go unpaid. I never received a payment thru the mail for this account. They are trying to send my name and account to the collections agency for me not paying this money. They want me to pay them $804.72 to close out this account. Why would I pay that amount for magazines that I don't remember agreeing to get? They say they have a recording of me agreeing to the extension. I wouldn't recommend anyone fooling with this magazine company. They said I couldn't cancel the two accounts because I was pass the cancelation date. I think you should be able to cancel an account and you shouldn't have to pay them anything. I just want to get rid of this account and for them to never contact me again.
