Sprint Bill Scam Sprint bill SCAM

Received a "Settlement" offer via snail mail of an outstanding bill for Sprint communications company LP. Total bill is $265. And offer is $132.73. I have never had any services from Sprint and had just checked my credit rating so knew this was a total scam.

Then called CBCS to find out about the supposed bill. They had no info on when I got the service, what the phone number was, or the address where I lived at the time. I told them I had never used Sprint in any way at all.

Then they asked if I had cosigned for anyone. NO Then they said I needed to clear it up and write them a letter with all info and saying it was not my bill.instead I told them I knew it was a scam, that they were trolling for the unsuspecting, and that if it showed up on my credit report then they would have a lawsuit. I also told them I was recording the call for legal and quality purposes. They hung up.
