Ripoff customers, associates & family a company joke

I have worked for Wal-Mart for many years and it use to be a family company. But now it seems all they care about is money. They don't care about the associates or the customers. We never hear about what we can do for the customer, it is always what we can do for the District Manger. So he can make more money.

The insurance is a joke. They fight paying for everything. We pay every month for insurance. But every time you have to fight to get things paid. Their long term and short term disability is a joke too. They always find a reason not to pay. I had a on the job injury that I am still receiving PT for and the management has never asked how I way doing.

I am going to have to have surgery. All they asked way how long will you be off? They tell you that you can call the 1-800 line with a complaint to your regional personnel director, and he is as much of a joke as the company is. It has been over 6 weeks since I requested a one on one with our District Manager. I still have not heard from him, although he is in the store 3-4 times a week.
Sam Walton would roll over in his grave if he could see what they are doing to his company. We have managers in our district that have never even read his book. What a joke.
To be a manger in Wal-mart you only have to be a classless JERK!
