Total Con Artists - Beware! Oasis Moving & Storage overcharged me $500, forced me to sign and agree to any charges they desired because if I didn't, they would keep my stuff

Stay away from oasis moving & storage. They lied, they underquoted me just to get my business. I ended up paying about double what the quote was! They don't care about you once they have your money.

1) They neglected to tell me many things up front
2) The pick up guy showed up in a rental truck and pushed me to quickly sign pages and pages of stipulations and fine print.
3) Used a box of tape on very few items and charged me $250 for it!
4) Readjusted their estimate multiple times after they had picked up my belongings.
5) Charged me more just to use a credit card.
6) Accepted my fiance's signature on my credit card receipt.
7) Took almost a month to get from California to Colorado. Seems like they just made it within their time policy.
8) Wanted $500 more or the delivery guys wouldn't unload my stuff - claimed they had to carry my stuff almost 500 feet. When I measured it, I got a little over 150 feet. Plus, they charged me $75 more for an additional flight of stairs because my single staircase that leads to my door has a mid-landing. C'mon its only 15 steps total!
9) Forced me to sign their documents so I can't dispute their unlawful charges. They already had my belongings ransom.
10) Asked me if I can fit a 52 foot truck at my delivery address, in which I said no. They decided to bring one anyway and charged me for the inconvenience.
11) Disassembled my furniture which was nice but never reassembled like they said they would.
12) Didn't place things where we wanted. The delivery guys were "tired" and they just dumped everything in my living room.
13) Broke my computer desk, cd shelf and a few other items.

I could go on and on... My sales rep mysterious disappeared after I booked them. Later I spoke with a supervisor, Andrea Orellana who was nice when she was collecting my money and making me sign and fax document after document. But when I tried to talk to her about this last $500 they decided to come up with at the end, it was basically, if you don't sign then we're keeping your stuff. Total blackmail. So I had to sign what they wanted which sucks because now I have no leg to stand on as its a legal binding document.

Very unreasonable people. Can't believe they are still in business!!! What they did to me is not only immoral but illegal, however they are clever at finding loopholes to get around my credit card disputes. If I hired a lawyer, I'm certain I would get some compensation, but unfortunately, it is too costly and too time consuming.
