Is A Membership SCAM! Unless you purchase membership you are wasting your time!

I began using monster.com when I became unemployed in November. I created a profile and a resume on their service and I opted for the free level of membership after comparing the different levels as I had determined that what was offered was adequate. Imagine my frustration to learn that the listings that I applied for received neither my application nor my resume. I have wasted 5 *censored* months thinking that I'm applying for jobs.

When I contacted a few of my prospective employers directly they had never heard of me nor had they even received my resumes or cover letters! WTF?!? If Monster.com had stated in their registration that paid members are the only ones that benefit then I would not have wasted 5 months on their phony services. I feel like I'm starting all over again. I'm not accustomed to being unemployed and it is frustrating enough without scammers like monster.com trying to milk every last dollar out of you because of your desperation. Shame on monster.com!!!
