Two charges from my bank acct on 3/14/08 for 9.95 and 11.95. Did not sign up for this service

This company has charges coming out of my bank account without authorization. Two charges in one day. I called the number and the person told me I had to give my credit card number and the charges would not have appeared if they didn't have it.
