American Loss Mitigation took my money and once realizing they weren't doing as they said they refused to refund my $2950.00

I signed up with American Loss Mitigation of Arizona after they promised that they could help me avoid foreclosure. They sent me the paper work, I read over, researched the company online, and once I was convinced that they weren't going to rip me off I complied with their request of signing the forms and sending the money. We talked on the phone daily when the process began, but when I hadn't heard anything from them in a few weeks after sending my second payment I got nervous. I read the contract and it stated that I could recieve a full refund if I wasn't satisified. I sent emails, and a letter stated that I wanted a refund. No would respond. I sent a complaint to the website and someone from the main office called me. I told them that I wanted my refund and they were going to contact the branch that I was dealing with and get back to me. After a month of phone calls, someone called me and told me that my check was sent to the branch over two months ago and they should have refunded me my $2950.00 as they were instructed. I told them that no one would even return my calls, letters or emails and that I wanted to deal with the main company not the branch any longer and that they should refund me my money and get it back from the branch. They were going to look into it and get back to me. That was in June. I have contacted the Attorney General of Arizona and they told me that they couldn't get anyone from Alma to get back to them, but they would keep my complaint on file. I feel so used and don't want anyone else to get ripped off.
