My complaint about Golden Eagle leasing echoes many of the complaints at this site. I leased a credit card terminal back in 2001 from this fraudulent company. Golden Eagle began charging my checking account a $60 a month fee. When I found out the terminal retail value was only $300.00 I called Golden Eagle to complain about the mark up but all I got was a run around. During the months that followed I tried getting an explanation from their belligerent phone staff. Their phone staff kept lying. I got sick of their lies and I requested to have the terminal removed.

They removed and took the equipment back 2002. It wasn't until January that I realized Golden Eagles was stealing money from my checking account. My accountant asked me about the $60.00 charge Golden Eagle was posting to my account. This charge has been posted for the last 8 years.

They were not authorized to charge my account, Specially when they had taken the equipment seven years earlier
I'm a practicing Dentist in New Jersey and I have a lot of canceled checks to go through on a monthly basis. I lease most of my equipment, therefore their stealing went unnoticed. I have some companies that automatically withdraw money from my account. They are all reputable companies and have kept their side of the deal but this Golden Eagle company are the worst most unscrupulous thieves I have ever seen.

I called the company several times to question the charges and they told me that the lease I signed was a permanent lease that cannot be canceled, I have never seen any company so disinterested, less helpful or more obstructive to delivering service to their customers than Golden Eagle. According to them the fact that I returned the equipment six years earlier has nothing to do with them.

I called the bank to canceled the automatic withdrawal from the account. My bank charged me $100 dollar for the stop payment. I thought the stop payment would finally end their robbery but the last two months they changed the amount and reasons for the charge and they were able to withdraw additional money from my account.

Do not deal with this company. A credit card terminal valued at $300 dollars has cost me over $5,000. Dollar so far and just think they removed the eqipment 7 years earlier.

I have already contacted The New Jersey consumer affairs office and the attorney General. I refuse to let these people get away with robbery. Not only do I feel violated but after reading other complaints about this company I feel that is my responsibility to bring this racket to justice. I don't care how much money it costs me.
