California Stole or "exchanged" my family diamond

I went into the Jewelry Exchange in Tustin with a beautiful virtually flawless family diamond of high quality and asked them to set it in my wedding ring. Before I gave it to them I had looked at it under the magnifying glass at a number of stores and was told it was of very high quality. When I picked up the ring I was just excited to see the beautiful ring and was in a hurry to leave on my flight that afternoon so I didn't ask for them to prove it was the diamond I gave them. It wasn't a large diamond and I just didn't even think about it. Much to my dismay I have since seen that there is a huge carbon spot easily recognized by the human eye. Someone there stole my family diamond and replaced it with a cheap replacement. I am so angry because I will never be able to replace the sentimental value of my diamond and because I have been showing off my wedding ring, not realizing the very visible flaw. This is embarrassing and makes me and my husband look bad. Don't buy anything from this awful place.
