Company did not peform according to verbal and writen promises! Fraudulent ripoff business Santa Ana California

I hate to say I was duped into signing and agreement with Jobfinders International, now known as Wellington Burke. I was told they had a huge amount of companies looking for someone with my experience, especially being multilingual. I was told I should have a job in two to three weeks with two people confirming this!

I was also shown a huge binder of companies with people they already placed they would contact to announce my availability since these people are always looking for someone who has gone through JobFinders!

They also promised to redesign my resume and provide me with companies looking for someone with my qualifications and although it was the end of October I was also lead to believe they had contacts with companies to provide me with employment for the holiday season was actually the best time to look for work! I simply and foolishly took them for their word of honor.

I was not provided the services I was promised! Service contracts are based on an agreement between two parties, but the provider failed to perform the service, and are therefore in default of the contract. That is why Im requested a refund as per my letter of January 24 to Mr. Vincent J. Leggio.

I understand no one promised me a job in two or three weeks, but it was inferred. At the same time I understand this is part of the sales process! The fact is I was not provided the service I agreed to in the contract and I still stand by my points!

H Failure to provide written letters, addressed envelopes and contacts for temp agencies. These were actually mailed to me on January 24th when they were requested in November.
H Failure to provide the second target mailing list, letters and envelopes in a timely manner. I requested these in the end of November, met with Mr. Richmond the first week of December
about this and the temp letters, but they did not arrive until January 24th.
H The third target mailing list, letters and addressed envelopes were never delivered!
H The selling/closing point for me was Mr. Leggios mention of his thick notebook containing former placements in search of quality personnel from JobFinders. This turned out to be nothing more than job listings that are posted on the net!

Their materials are fine, but not as unique as they made them out to be, for one can procure the same information in a bookstore and on the web. The work perfomed on the resume was horrendous and I had to spend a lot of time cleaning it up! When I requested material to be delivered I waited 49 days for it to arrive, for my contact had been out of the country on a three week vacation and had not informed his people about my requirements before leaving.in January 22 days before the requested material arrived I requested a refund as per their money back guarantee. Two weeks later they finally responded and was told Prospect of receiving refund is quite remote!

After much haggling and agreements with the owner Ron Lawrence for a refund the matter still has not been resolved. I complained to the Better Business Bureau and Ron Lawrence then agreed to refund half once the BBB complaint was removed. I had it removed and the BBB sent him a letter informing him of this. However, he still refused to produce a refund!

Everyone should beware people in this company make numerous false verbal promises and explain their contract fillied with ambiguities to make your believe there really is a MONEY BACK GUARANTEE!

I have my day in court with them tomorrow. Everyone in Southern California needs to be made aware of how dishonest and deceptive these people really are!
