Our German shepherd puppy was advertised as "very suitable for breed/show". Victoria Driggs of Kennel Gold-Berg also advertised (s) that all puppies come with age appropriate shots, all are tattooed and all come with a puppy packet.

The picture we received showed that our puppy was completly beautiful black and red. Our puppy arrived with white socks (white front paws) which we did not know he had and was not shown in the picture. White socks are NOT suitable for breed/show nor the least bit desirable in a German shepherd. White socks are considered a major fault in the show ring. When we questioned Victoria, she said "not to worry" that they will fill in. Once we confirmed, in front of a German Judge, that these white socks would not fill in, we requested a substantial refund or to return the puppy for a full refund. At this point Victoria changes her position and says that we paid for a pet and we got a pet. She would not agree to any of our requests or attempts to amicably resolve this. Our puppy did NOT come with all the advertised age appropriate shots, complete deworming, tattoo or puppy packet.

6 months later we have succeeded in obtaining a judgment in Clackamas County, Oregon against Victoria Driggs of Kennel Gold-Berg. The judgment awarded is for a full refund of all expenses minus $500.00 that we voluntarily offered to pay for the puppy, which we feel is more than fair. We are still trying to collect the difference through garnishments and seizures. She has also admitted to coloring his feet with "Kalium Permanganate". She obviously did this for the updated picture we requested prior to purchasing him, as we obviously wanted to know exactly what he looked like. We are still waiting for a tattoo (at her expense) and to receive his packet/papers.

In sharing this our hope is that this does not happen to any other potential buyers. We have since made many friends and contacts in the world of Breeders, Trainers and Judges. There are too many good, reputable and professional people out there to be taken advantage of by someone like Victoria Driggs. Thank you
