Accent Studios, Celebrations Studios, Shani Whittmore Misrepresentation and False Pretenses - Flat out LIED

Shani Whittmore was our saleswomen for Celebrations Studios. She misrepresented herself to us when we booked our wedding photographer. She said she was an outside rep for Celebrations and her company was Accent Studios. We signed a contract for Celebration Studio and put a deposit of $1500 to hold a price and photographer.

We basically went with this company for a specific photographer. We heard about the comapany because a close friend of my fiances used them and their photographer was great. My fiances friends got ripped off by Celebration as well because they never got their photo album and the photographer who subcontracted with celebrations never got paid from the company but my fiances friends paid in full to Celebrations. Everything was very shady and would stay clear of Accent Studios/Celebration Studios / and Shani Whittmore.

After hearing about the bankrupcy of Celebration studios we called Shani. She said that we were not affected by this. We paid Accent Studios and she would provide the same service we signed up for. We asked if we still had the photograher we wented and she said yes. However, when we contacted the photographer she said Shani never booked her and was lying to us. We confronted Shani and she wanted us to sign another contract for Accent Studios. She also lied about the videographer, who we contacted and was never contacted or booked by Shani.

Basically they play the "old bait and switch" game which is legal. They will tell you one thing but if it's not in the contract they are covered. They are covered as long as anyone who is in a tuxedo shows up to photo/film your wedding. The said thing is they could hire an intern (from College), pay him nothing to have them shot your wedding and they are covered under the contract.
They are playing with the 2nd most important day of your life, next to your child's birth, and never caring about giving quality service. This is sad and people like this will get their due at judge day.

All i ask of people is to think twice before getting involved with this company.
