Options Talent Part I ripoff cheated employees and screwed the customers even more Orlando

I'm going to post a lot of stuff today... So read on.

My name is "Cary" and I worked for Options Talent.

The first thing you need to know is that I think the concept of putting talent on a website is really good. I was an actor myself for a while and if it works, it can truly save a lot of time and money.

The problem is, the agencies make a lot of their money ripping talent off by selling them overpriced pictures. You sign with an agent (especially modeling agents, not so much acting/casting agents) and the 1st thing they say is "your pictures are bad= you need new ones" so they get you a "special price" with their friendly photographer and the fees get taken out of your first job. So the agencies don't want to see everything go digital because they'll lose all the money they're swindling out of naive models.

Also, the agents still want to meet models in person. While there are a lot of gay agents, there are plenty of straight ones who think nothing of hooking up with young, naive models. Just look at what's happening with Elite, one of the top agencies - they're in the middle of a huge sex scandal.

And at Options there was so much hooking up between the employees. I myself even felt it / you'd go out to a bar with your coworkers and the next thing you knew, everyone was drunk, groping each other. Half the staff have hooked up with each other.

I left when I realized as a Christian that the drinking, constant partying, and tons of sex were not the environment I needed to be in, and I didn't feel morally right about taking a paycheck any longer.
