What about this company made me want to write this report:
-personally insulting me and mocking me on the phone
-not responding to my querries about why my order was 1 1/2 months late and then responding with misleading information
-lack of professionalism or any interest in customer satisfaction
-holding me financially responsible for their misleading information

I placed an order on this website for a pair of sunglasses before Christmas. The website advertised that sunglasses would be shipped within 72 hours and that standard shipping takes 7-10 days. 1 1/2 months later I received the sunglasses.in the mean time I emailed them and attempted to call them. I received very unprofessional responses on the phone and email - the emails looked as though they had been written by a 6 year-old and contained misleading information about the status of my order. When I inquired as to why the order had arrived before the end of 2007 - well after the website had promised they would have arrived, I received a response that the item had been misordered. The man I spoke with on the phone admitted that misordering happens very frequently.

I believed that the order was fully returnable - as indicated on the website. Once I received the glasses - 1 1/2 months after I ordered them, I no longer wanted them. They appeared to be quite flimsy as well when I tried them on - not like the ones of the same item number I had tried on in a department store. However, I was informed - surprise surprise - that they were not fully returnable because they were actualy a special order. This came as a complete surprise as there had been absolutely no indication that it was a special order. Upon checkout there was no indication and when I had inquired several times about the status of my item, they made no indication that it was a special order. They said it was late because it had been misordered. This company (which I think is just one guy on a cell phone) is so disorganized.

I just wanted my money back, to send the glasses back, and be done with the whole problem. I would not be writing this now if they had been so incredibly rude to me. The "customer service" I experience was insulting, rude, and completely unprofessional. I called several times during what most would consider regular business hours (usually around 2-4pm M-F) and frequently did not get through to speak with someone. When I called for my refund (around 3pm on a weekday) I was informed that he was not near a computor and thus could not check on my order. Finally, I got through and after stating my case was informed that it was all my fault and that he could do nothing. Holding the customer completely responsible when something goes wrong because they don't even have any idea what is going on with the orders is unacceptable. When I persisted that I wanted a refund because I had been misled and already had spent enough time dealing with this mess, the man on the phone personally insulted me and asked me mocking questions.

I never want anything to do with this company ever again, and I feel compelled to make this known to the public. I hope that you do not make the same mistake of patronizing this horrible business. Being misled, held financially responsible for this company's mistakes and misleading information, and to top it all off, being mocked and insulted is no way to do business. I hope that this company's unjust and rude business practices are brought to light and that you, the potential customer are the wiser.
