Ripoff, misleading, sunglasses, eyewear, online, delay

May 29 - I place my order for one pair of Noir 4% dark grey large fitover sunglasses.
Between May 29 and June 8 I hear nothing regarding my order, but I was certainly billed for it right away.
June 8 - I finally get an email stating that my order had been shipped that day! Over a week after my initial order was placed.
June 14 - My order finally comes in - they're too large, and don't fit. This is my fault, of course, for not checking the sizes carefully.
June 14 again - I immediately send them an email, asking if I can exachange my pair that I had purchased, for the "small" size.
I hear absolutely nothing after that.
June 21 - After a week of hearing nothing, I decided just to ship the item back with a note attached, stating that I wanted to exchange the "large" sunglasses for the "small" ones.
Weeks go by - I hear nothing.
July 10 - I finally get on the phone to find out what's going on with my order. They claimed to have received my note, and were waiting to get the new order from the manufacturer.
Almost a month goes by - I hear nothing.
August 2 - I get on the phone again to find out what is taking SO long! The person I talked to said that I would need to speak with a supervisor, and she would call me back the next morning.
August 3 - To their credit, I did get a phone call. The supervisor told me that the manufacturer does not make the small model of those sunglasses in the color I was asking for so they would like me to select something ELSE from their website!
After some research, I found out that the manufacturer DID make the the type of sunglasses that I was asking for, but bestbuyeyeglasses.com would not order it from them.
Bottom line: Why was I the one who had to make all those phone calls? Wouldn't you think that a decent business would call their customer after running into such a conflict?
I guess buying eyeware online is not a great idea, but buying eyeware from "Best Buy Eye Glasses" is an even worse idea.
