Dead Beat, Does Not Pay His Bill, He's a Criminal

I signed a contract with Joe and AKA Cindy Tagliaferri to build a deck and sunroom in May. They did not want to pay the fee's associated with filing a permit so they decided to act as General Contractor and file their own Permits. We spent the entire Summer doing this work, Joe would advertise my company for more business and tried to become very friendly to get free work done. When I presented him with the cost of extra's and current invoices he requested that he would reveiw it with his wife who works all day while he stays home and watches Opra with his Grandmother, we kept working and working but never saw the money.

One day in March I told Joe if he couldn't pay for the work, let me know so we could work on jobs that would pay and come back when he had the money... He agreed, the next thing I know he is trying to slander me with letters from BBB, Attorney General. I quickly responded and cleared my name providing facts and proof that he was wrong in his actions.

He is commiting Theft by deception and needs to be punished by the law. I would like him to pay the $7,000.00 that is long past due. This is not right! People like this you need to watch out for, no one works for FREE!
