Threatened and harrassed over the phone

Where do I begin...

First off I need to tell you how scared and upset I was today after begging Jessica Colby (main contact person i guess) to accept my payment today for a check that did not clear and the last one next thursday.

She would not have ANY of this, started cursing me out telling me I am a low life, dead beat. If I dont send 200.00 today dont send anything at all she will reject it. I was hystericle today knowing I didnt have the 200.00 but I had the 90.00 for the other payment.

I am totally responsible for these 2 checks, I am not by any means running, i didnt even know it was handed over to them to begin with. My husbands payroll was incorrect and the wrong amount was deposited, leaving us short with 2 checks out already. My bank is aware this was an error on their part but now that I really see whats going on... This company can go straight to hell.

I refuse to pay them I will do everything in my power to go through the original debt holder. I am a new 1st time mommy and she heard my baby making noises and Jessica Colby said is that your baby I hear, I hope someone will be there for her when your local athorities come and arrest you today. She told me there will be a warrant out this evening for me.

After crying the whole day staring out my window and looking into my newborns eyes I was sick to my stomach thinking I was a terrible person. Good news is I found this site and BOY am I thrilled! I cant wait till tomorrow morning to get on the horn with them and record our convo and let them feel as little as I did today.

It may not be the right thing to do but pay backs a B&%&%!!! Anyway I want to thank you guys for making me feel so much better, i can actually sleep now knowing they wont be knocking on my door at midnight to arrest me! I know that check writing is a serious offense, well it CAN be, but in this situation I have nothing to worry about bc it is only a collection agency, NOT a law firm! All I wanted to do was pay this and they wouldnt even accept it. What collection agency does that? Ive never heard of a company not wanting to settle... Weird!!!
