Deceptive dishonest unethical shih tzu breeder

Jody Ingram established Golden Reighn Shih Tzu in after adopting her FIRST two dogs from me. NOTE: Only one day after she posted the consumer complaints against me, she added an update. She actually tried to retract the report. Jody got her first SHIH TZU from me on APRIL 5. She came to my home and introduced herself on my doorstep. She explained that she lived nearby, and she had always admired my dogs. She told me she had always wanted a Shih Tzu of her own, but could not afford one. She explained how she had no job and no money. She was also caring for her seriously ill mother, Judy Smith.

With compassion for her, I gave her an adult male, who was not being used in my breeding program. I told her she could adopt him for free, but he was not to be used for breeding. He was to be a pet only. She agreed, and was EVER so happy with him. She came back soon after, wanting another Shih Tzu for her mother (this time a female). Her mother was in failing health and only wanted a companion for love and therapy. I had one adult female, Jazzy, who deserved a loving pet home. I told her Jazzy should not be bred according to my vet, who had diagnosed her with a hormonal-related skin problem. Jody took Jazzy on APRIL 26. Her mother was ELATED to receive her. NOTE: these dogs were given away with no papers in APRIL out of kindness and sympathy.

Shortly after, In AUGUST I was informed that Jody was having the dogs bred by our local vet. I was shocked. Jody refused to listen to me when I called her to remind her of her promises not to breed them. She sent me a nasty email stating that I could not tell her what to do with her dogs. At that point, I DEMANDED that she pay me in one way or another for the dogs she adopted from me. She told me she would as long as I gave her their AKC papers. I have the contracts she signed, dating 10/2/06. NOTE: this was 6 months after she first adopted the dogs. She tried to tell her that I did not tell her they were not breeding quality. This PROVES her ignorance to acknowledge that CERF eye tests and vet exams that I gave her. FURTHERMORE, she did not stop breeding the dogs. She has ignorantly rebred poor Jazzy. To further prove her deceitful ways: her mother signed a promise to return Jazzy to me if she could not take care of her. Yet, Jody changed the dog's ownership from her mother to herself after her mother passed away.

Jody knows very little about breeding, yet she went to such length as to advertise the male for stud service. She also adverised him for sale... Out of state. She claims that she has neutered and placed the male, finally.

Jody had ulterior motives from the moment she first set foot on my doorstep.

While she has slandered me, this is not the first time I have been the victim of another breeder's attempt to ruin my reputation. Out of jealousy, outher breeders have even used my pictures of my show dogs on their websites, in an effort to deliberatley deceive the public.
