On May 7, I signed up as a dealer for the company. On that same date, I filled in a form for 1 of their credit card readers. On the Authorization for Equipment, it very clearly pointed out that the reader I was going to get (a Verifone Tranz 330) had been REFURBISHED. They charged me $35.00 for shipping it. (It cost me $5.50 to pay FedEx to ship it back to them!)

The business that I had been counting on did not materialize so on September 10, I sent a FAX asking them to cancel my service. I continued to get the monthly charge of $10.95 for the next 2 months.

On my October 31 bank statement, I noted 3 charges: the monthly fee of $10.95; an early cancellation fee of $350.00 and a $200.00 charge for "Equipment Charge". (I understood the $350.00 charge for it is in the contract in very small type.) I called and talked to a fellow named Brandon. He advised me to pack up the card reader and send it back with a letter of explanation.

I packed the reader back in the same box that it came in and sent it by FedEx on November 14. It was received by them on November 20 at 11:31AM - signed for by E Hernandez.

Nothing happened so I called Brandon again and asked him how my refund was coming. He acted like he didn't have any idea what I was talking about and asked me to FAX to him the proof of delivery; a copy of the letter and a copy of my bank statement showing the charges.

Again, nothing. Called again December 1 and talked with a gal named Gail. She asked that I send the same material to her and she would take care
of it. She said that she would turn it all over to her supervisor (Julian) and he would be in touch with me.

Again, nothing. Called again on December 12 and was advised that they would be refunding $100 of my $200 because they had to REFURBISH the reader! I told them that the scratches that were on it were on it when I received it! Didn't make any difference: all you get is $100.00 SOME DAY!

Again, nothing. Called again on January 9 and talked to Brandon. Sorry, but we can't do a thing about the $100.00! The check for $100 was mailed to you on January 7.

I have never experienced anything like this is my over 50 years in business! The only one that seemed to get a damn was Gail and she tried! The rest of the whole damn bunch had an attitude of "screw you"!

This is the LAST PLACE IN THE WORLD that I would attempt to business with!
