Ripoff unauthorized credit card charges victimized many consumers Nationwide

I was checking my cc account online for recent charges to my credit card and found a charge for $109.95 posted the day before yesterday, by MWI Esssentials.

I had never heard of this company before and so, I began by researching the name on the internet. I came across hundreds, if not thousands of people who have been victimized by MWI Essentials. MWI Essentials, is somehow illegally obtaining credit card numbers and charging those credit cards fraudulently.

I immediately called my credit card issuer to dispute the charges and while on the phone with the customer service representative for the credit card company, he called the number listed and forwarded our call to that number. After the call was answered by MWI Essentials, I was told (by recording) to please hold for a customer service representative.

After about 30 seconds of being on hold, I was summarily disconnected. Apparently, this is the normal routine, according to other reports I have seen.

I have no hope of ever speaking to anyone with MWI Essentials and I will be speaking with the Attorney General of my home state to prefer charges and to initiate an investigation of MWI Essentials.

I have also requested cancellation of my current credit card and a replacement for it.

I would urge all persons who have been victimized by MWI Essentials, to contact their Attorney General, any consumer advocacy groups in their area, the news media watch dog personell and anyone else they can think of. MWI Essentials MUST BE STOPPED!!!
