In researching extended warranty plans for an automobile I am planning to purchase I made the mistake of happenng upon this company's web site. After filling out some basic contact information, I was contacted yesterday day by phone.

It became obvious after about 10 minutes of listening to a highly choreograped sales pitch that continually rebuffed my repeated requests to dispense with the script and simply give me coverage and price information, that I was dealing with a boiler room style high pressure sales group.

When I expressed my displeasure with the inability to get coverage and price data and told them I intended to end the call a supervisor quickly jumped on the line and attempted to get back to the sales pitch.

This company called back even though I told them at the end of the first call that I was not interested in their product. I gave them a second chance to provide price and coverage data to no avail. It was quite obvious that their sales tactics involve controlling the conversation and sticking to the pitch, continually rebuffing any attempt by the customer to obtain the price and coverage information with replies such as " that information is coming up on the computer now" and 5 minutes later " I'll have that information up on the computer in a minute"

As of 8:30 PM I have received three phone calls today - after telling them each time that I was not interested in their product and wished to be placed on their do not call list.

In the event of future calls I intend to call the Malibu Police Station 818-878-1808 and file a complaint.

I also intend to put my phone on "speaker", inform them that I intend to tape the conversation and make sure that the tape records my request to receive no more calls from them.

Take my advice Do not give this company your contact information.
