Christmas order delayed repeatedly, delivery tried 80 miles away

I ordered an item for Christmas, and its original shipping date was the 12th, then the 13th, then the 14th, then the 15th, then the 18th. I called, and they said they had tried delivering my package to 3 people, all living in a city over 80 miles from where I live. I do not know how careless people can get. I have called and cussed out everyone from clerks to area managers, with no luck. Then came "magical" local weather delays in sunny skies.
If you have stuff to send, do not use FedEx. I have had tons of stuff sent to me through FedEx, and I have never received one. Of course, they say it was delivered, but not to my house. Beware: they are nothing but a bunch of incompetent people in trucks.
