Rent-A-Center
Paying full price for used/dameged furniture, missing parts, 10mth used loner with no word on repair of original. Payments already exceeding $4700.00 an so odd dollars

I've been a very unhappy cusomer of Rent-A-Center for qiet sometime now.in November I signed a contract with Rent-A-Center in fear that I would not have furniture for friends and family during the Thanksgiving Holiday I picked out a new TV/Sterieo, Sectional, Coffie/End Tables. On the day of delivery I didnt recieve the items of my choice.

On the day of delivery I was given a used Sectional that was stained and some what discolored. The coffie table was scratched in several places and it was acompanid by only one end table instead of two. The TV and stereo was new and so was the stand they both rest on.

I explain to Rent-A-Center that the items I chose where new items and the table set was a set of three not two. They replied that this is what was in stock at the time and the other table to the set was broken. They told me not to worry these items would get me through the Holiday and they would replace them with new items once those particular items came in.

Never the less I agreed to keep the items until new ones arrived in the store, mean while the TV goes out. Rent-A-Center replaces the new TV with a used
loaner while they rerpair the original. The Thanksgiving Holiday is now over so I began requesting that me the terms of our agreement.

Rent-A-Center told me to keep the TV that I had that the original could not be fixed and that the price would chang if I wad delivered new furniture. After
talking with Rent-A-Center (Marcus/Edward) on more than several acasions I
was told that the price's would be reduced for the items being used and incomplete. I was satisfied until after paying $4700.00 and some odd dollars
I still owe them for used, damaged, and incomplete furniture.

This is unfair and much more that a ripoff. Why should I or others pay the full
the full price of new items and recieve old used and damaged items.
