Spamming solicitation attempted scam

Shops, Products, Services

I submitted a poem to this website and promptly began recieving offers for plaques and books featuring my poem. I could pay more for them to print a bio on the opposite page from the poem. I then recieved emails relating to different awards and an exclusive membership to the International Society of Poets. I called it an attempted scam because it was nearly 100% unsuccessful. I bought nothing from them because I couldn't afford to do so. After recieving so many emails (and a letter) asking for money I got suspicious. My internet search led me to this site.

If I had actually had the money to buy a book featuring my poem, I might have. It came close to working on me. All I wanted was to get a head start on publishing my work. Now my prized poem is in the hands of God-knows-who! It is my property and i need to know what they will do with it. Unlike most submissions, my poem IS worth an award and publishing.
