Gem Trucking
When Gem Trucking delivered my furniture to me several Items were broken or missing. That was June and they still have not replied to my claim. The driver tried offer me $200 to forget about. Gemtrucking06@sbcglobal.net California

In June of this year we moved from Middleburg Florida to Marana AZ. We scheduled the move with TRANSGLOBAL VAN LINES, (877) 658-6683 who contracted it out to Gem Trucking, (310) 952-0935. When the moving truck arrived in AZ there were several items broken as well as some missing.

List of Items,

One, newer 32 inch Sony TV, broken in move.
One, Select Comfort King size Bed Frame. Never delivered, "missing"
One, black leather chair, broken in move.
One, wood desk, broken in move.
One, box of china with four plates and three bowls broken.
One broken Brass Lamp.
Four newer Lamp shades were delivered broken.

When I went over the list with the driver he admitted fault and tried to offer me $200 to for get about it. I refused and decided to put in a claim. When I contacted Transglobal Van lines and submitted my claim, I was told they would email it to Gem Trucking, that they were responsible for any damages. Transglobal sent me verification of their email of the claim to Gem Trucking on June 27. I waited five months heard nothing from Gem Trucking.

On November 18, I contacted Gem Trucking and was told by the receptionist Lilly that my claim had never been received. I sent another claim to gemtrucking06@sbcglobal.net. I called on 11/20 and spoke with Lilly and she comfirmed that they had received my claim. I have not heard from them since. My emails and my phone messages have not been returned. It is also my belief that not all of the employees of Gem Trucking were properly bonded.

When the movers arrived in AZ I asked the main driver who his new helper was he said that he had pick him up at a Truck Stop in El Passo TX. The driver claimed that he was hitch hiking to CA. When I ask if he was bonded the driver said not to worry about it. The hitch hiker did not speak English.
