Mistreated and ripped off

My daughter received a video for her birthday in April. The video was still in the shrinkwrap and had the Target sticker on it. We wanted to exchange it because she already had the movie. The clerk said that if I didn't have the receipt we couldn't even exchange it or we had to have the date it was purchashed on (Give me a break!). I called for a manager and she said the same thing. Today I was in Target and the woman infront of me had a CD that had the sticker on it and they allowed her to exchange it.

I'm upset because of their arbitrary policy. Either you do or you don't exchange without a reciept. We ended up giving the video away since we already had it. I'll think twice about shopping at Target again.
