$1000.00 online gift card? Wondering if Ill get it, had to order 5 Magazines, They took out more than they said

I received a phone call dec 1st from american reader about a $1000.00 gift card I can use for online shopping and the only thing I would have to do is pay for shipping on the magazines to get this gift card. First of all they took out more than they said out of my card. They said I was getting this because Im in good standing with my master card. I decided to check the net for Information on there company and found alot of bad reports on them so now Im worried about getting the gift card they said would be shipped priority mail the same day. Ive emailed them about the charges and asked them about the gift card, I will try calling them tomorrow to see what they say. I hope this is not a ripoff.
