About nine months ago Mountain Area Communications called me and promised me a $1000 gift card. I'm a college student, it was early in the morning when they called and I wasn't all with it. So to get them off the phone I agreed to their program of like 4 magazines for like 20 dollars a month for 20 months. I gave them my bank information over the phone and got charged every month. I live off of disability, I don't have the kind of money to be getting magazine subscriptions, and before the $1000 gift card came in the mail, I had to pick out my magazines I wanted and signed this paper, I thought I was signing for the gift card, not for a contract for magazines. Then when the gift card came it wasn't for anything popular, or useful or relevant. I was totally scammed and now I have to pay 18.84 every month for 4 magazines that I'm not even getting! Total scam! I've tried to email them, I've tried to call them, I've tried everything I know what to do, I even changed my bank account and they still found me.in the middle of a fraud investigation now, hoping I won't get charged again this month. I'm sick of them taking my money and not providing what they said they would provide. Mountain Area Communications is a SCAM!
