Buying a CD

I recently went and got my childis holiday pitures completed and desired to buy a photo-CD and believed the cost was $10.00 to $20.00. It has been the cost since our child was a baby. Nearly 4 years back. When appeared online it claims the cost is $9.95. Nevertheless when I requested for this I had been informed it had been 79.00-99.00 all due to christmas. Why the huge difference in cost. That simply makes me not get my kids pitures there again.
