They scammed me and took my social security number, bank account information, etc! None

This "company" by the name of USA Financial called and told me they could help me get better credit, and give me money for a car. Specifically $2,000. All I had to do was authorize that they'd take $200 out of my bank account, and I'd get the money. They would send me $50 couchers in the mail to pay me back, and they said I could use that to pay off the loan. I gave them my SOCIAL SECURITY number, my mom's maiden NAME, my ADDRESS, and my ROUTING and CHECKING ACCOUNT numbers. I thought it was a little weird that they didn't even ask about my income, but I kind of thought it was cool, because my income isn't too high right now.

Anyway, like the naive idiot that I am, I GAVE the guy all of that info. He didn't even seem professional... I should have known. I didn't know. I just wanted the loan for a car. Bottom line. There will be no loan. I was scammed. I googled them and found reports of scam, that they take your money and never GIVE you and or follow up on anything! It also reported that their customer service line was invalid. (usacomplaints.com) So I tried calling the customer service line, and it prooved to be correct, that it was a fake line. A representative never talks to you. You will be on hold for infinity. So luckily, I had the original phone number that this company called me from on my cell phone. I called them, telling them I want to cancel, because this is a scam and I want to call the police, and I want them to ERASE my information!!! The guy was very unprofessional and would not do so. He told me to call "customer service"!!! And then he told me to hold on, but I could still here him, and he was talking to some guy telling them my that I read about the scam. I got hung up on!

So I called the police, and they could do nothing, because nothing had been taken out of my bank account. They told me I should go to the bank and put a stop on the account though. This is when it all hit me and I freaked out. I started having a panic attack and couldn't breathe very well, and ran 2 over to the bank from mmy apartment. I stood inline breathing heavily, and they asked if everything was okay. I told them I had an emergency, and explained the situation. They put a stop on the account from having USA Financial take money out, but CHARGED me for it. I called my mom about it, and she wasn't too happy. My sister called me a few minutes later. She's the manager at some bank, and gave me the numbers for experian, equifax, etc. I issued a fraud report and I also called all of my credit card companies. Tomorrow I'm planning on cancelling and re-opening my checking account. I have 2 other checking accounts... But I don't think I have to worry about those ones. This whole situation has really sucked, and I'm still a little bit shaken up over it. But this is a message to all of you: DO NOT LET THIS HAPPEN! Be wise! Because I regret not putting on my common sense thinking cap today.: (
