Unprofessional Movers and a Whole Lot of Damage to My Furniture

Wow when I read the report of the other victim of this company on this website it is so similar to my experience that I could have been the author.

I don't remember the name of the person that talked me into using their company but it was a woman that fed me the same crap as was fed the other victim of this company.

The movers showed up hours after the time that the company told me that they would arrive.

I learned from the 2 guys that pulled up to my house to move me with their Ryder truck that they bid for my moving job. They definately weren't "family." I don't think AIS ever met them. Who knows who these people are that come to your home and take your possessions away. If they never arrived to your new home with your possessions you would have no way of finding them. I only knew the drivers first name and it was something common like Dave or John. I didn't take down the plate number or anything. I didn't realize how ridiculous this situation was until after the fact.

NOTHING was padded. I have a great deal of dents and scrapes on my furniture. ALL my mattresses were dragged on the ground because these two guys didn't have the strength to lift them the whole distance from their rental truck into my house.

These people also tacked on charges at the end of my move that they initially told me were included in the binding quote.

This company is a joke. I would be happy to testify for anyone that sues AIS. I am thinking about suing and would welcome the testimony of other victims.
