Convicted Felon and his wife advertise in yellow pages as "Missy's Drywall"

I called "Missy's Drywall" after seeing their advertisement in the Yellow Pages. I simply wanted a basement room drywalled. After several bids, Melissa ("Missy") and her husband Brad came over and gave me a quote that was much lower than any of the others. They had their son, and a puppy, with them.

I checked the Better Business Bureau, and there were no reports filed. So, I assumed everything was on the up and up.

I called them (Brad/Missy - Brad seemed to always be the person who answered) and told them to schedule the job. Brad told me that he would start on Monday, but he needed money for materials. I paid them in full that day.

Two weeks later and three different start dates later, they have not done anything - except hang up on me when I call. Brad did pretend not to speak English once when I called from someone else's number. He said, "No speak English" over and over again, after speaking to my friend about what a good drywaller he is for over one minute!

Once I accepted that I had been ripped off by these people, I started to do a lot of reseach. I assumed that I was certainly not their first victim.

Long story short, the company is called Missy's Drywall because Bradley Fulcher is a convicted felon! He was convicted of AGGRAVATED BURGLERY in 2002 and is still on probation. I have called his probation officer and not gotten a return call. Currently, my only recourse is to sue Melissa Burns in civil court, which I am doing.

I want to pursue criminal charges. I think there must be a way. I'm interested in any ideas.
