Failure to Provide a signed contract despite receiving a deposit

I am reporting to let people know that Cash Money Booking Corporation located in New York City has failed to deliver on their agreement.

I contacted Cash Money Booking on August 30 to book a host for a modeling competition. I was contacted by Eric Jacobs on August 31 who stated he was the lead agent, and the host I wished to book was available for the November 3rd event. I was instructed to send a $1,500.00 deposit to book the host and to sign the provided contract, which stated I would receive a signed contract, rider and promotional materials from the host within three days after Cash Money Booking received the deposit. Two weeks, after making the deposit I still hadn't received anything from the company. I contacted Eric Jacobs by both phone and e-mail and requested this information. He e-mailed me back on September 28 and stated the contract and rider was forthcoming. He failed to deliver either item as of October 4, so I stated I would need to move this event back, because the event was less than a month away. I provided him with optional dates for the host management to choose and was told a decision would be provided in two days. I still, as of October 18 haven't received anything from them. They don't answer either of the phone numbers they provided and don't return calls.

This company's website claims they book some of the biggest musicians and celebrities in the country. I don't believe this claim that they do because they are very unprofessional. I would advise anyone that thinks of doing business with them to do as much research as possible on them and to check out the Better Business Bureau of New York to find out if there are other complaints
