Are the same goods picked up but no delivery

Our goods were picked up from Davis, CA on 8/2/07 and promised to deliver to Lafayette, Indiana on 8/11/07 but were never delivered after many phone calls and promises. Finally Public Utility Commission and Santa Clara District Attorney stepped in and we were able to pick up our goods from a Public storage. Our goods were stored in a B-32 but it is a dual unit shared with B-33. Shockingly, B-33 has no lock and our goods have been open and damaged with some goods were missing. I med the owner who's name is Shalom Shlomi at the warehoure located at 4620 Fortran Dr. San Jose and gave us the key and location of the storage. We paid $940 upfront and doubt we will get any money back while my daughter is sleeping on a twin air mattress going to school at Purdue. I hope enought people file complains to this mover and put him away for good.
