Mpg Systems credit card fraud / unautorized charge / denied chargeback / NYC / NY

We purchased equipment from an ebay sale. We paid for this by CC-paypal.
The item was to be shipped and insured [freight ship - 400lbs]. Unit arrived severally damaged by shipping. Selling company put up a good face but in the end we discovered that they had produced frauded shipping documents stating insurance, they did not insure the shipment. We filed a paypal dispute. MPG-systems agreed to send a replacement unit if we ended the dispute but we had to repay for shipping on the 2nd unit. We convinced the 1st shipping company to return the 1st damaged unit free of charge so we could recover our 1st shipment costs [they never did and MPG-systems never returned our 1st shipping cost].

The 2nd unit came, it did not function. We filed a chargeback on the 1st shipment - paid on another CC. As a replacement for the 1st unit, the 2nd unit did not work. MPG-systems then created another frauded invoice and charged our card we used for the 1st shipment, an unauthorized charge! We filed again a chargeback. This was in April and the original purchase was in DEC of 06.

Today we are told the chargeback was denied for the 2nd unauthorized charge of $999. I was furious! The selling company is in NY, we are in Colorado. Colorado does not allow small claims in another state.

We are out $999 x2 $450 x2 and we still have not what we paid for to begin with.

What the hell do we do now?
