Charged for Russia Calls Despite International Block

I had a Russian roommate and when he was going to move out, I called Qwest to see how to block international calls for the last month he was there so I wouldn't get stuck with a bill after he was gone.

They said they could take care of it and told me they had put a block on. It even shows up on my bill every month as a no charge item. Well I got the bill and there was $170 in calls to Russia.

I called them and after much time, they agreed that it was their fault and then I never heard about it for 4 years.

Now they have started billing me for it again and are adding $5 per month late fee and reporting me to the credit bureau and they now claim that there is no record of me requesting the international block and I must pay it.

Qwest is impossible to deal with. I keep getting switched to another department when I call and am on hold forever and then get cut off. I am very frustrated with this company but have no choice but to use them if I want dsl.
