Electrical contractor rip off Condo Association, billing 9 hours for a 1 hour jo

I am the president of a condo association with 614 units. We have used Wilco several times for electrical repairs, but the most recent will be the last.

In one case, they replaced an electrical panel without pulling a permit. Needless to say, this pissed off the building inspectors when they found out about it. Now, we not only paid Wilco's bill, but another $900 for after the fact electrical drawings and thousands of $ in fines.

In another case, they billed for a three man crew and a bucket truck to change 12 light fixtures that are 7 feet of the ground and accessible with a 4 foot ladder. To their credit, they did adjust this bill.

Finally, we had an electric meter bus burn up on one condo. The part was in ft. Lauderdale, about a one hour drive. Rather than having a courier bring it down for a charge of $40.00, they sent a mechanic and helper to drive up and get it for a cost of $200.in total, they billed 9 man hours for a one hour job, 5 hours for a mechanic, 3 hours for a helper and one hour for a supervisor.

When I called to inquire about the bill, I was informed that the owners, Cathryn & Phillip Henderson never come to the office. It shows. I was directed to John, the supervisor that billed the job.in his opinion, the bill was fair since he was saving us the cost of a new meter panel.
