Pawned jewelry assured me my jewelry was still in his possession the following week he told me jewelry was sold no proof paid him cash for interest, never late had to buy pieces he still had, refunded interest most of expensive jewelry sold by pawnshop, senior citizen-rip off, filed police reort

Pawned some jewelry, paid interest for 8 months, went in to pay June interest and owner informed me he had sold most of my jewelry because I was late in October. He had assured me the week prior to this that my jewelry was still locked in his file cabinet. He told me I was late, I had no proof as I paid in cash. I was never late with any payments but as I said I have no proof, He refunded me the interest for 8 months and I had to buy back what he had left. Talk about a rip-off I was really taken. Most of my expensive jewelry was gone. Most of the jewelry was what my children had given me. I filed a police report and the officer said it was a civil matter.
