Diamondback Air Conditioning - Don't Sweat It
RIPOFF the business that doesn't give a dam

September 1998 I had a contract to install a Lennox Air Conditioning at my home with "Don't Sweat it Corporation" also known as AFS - Air Mechanical. Now known as "Diamondback Air Conditioning"

The total amount paid was in excess of $3800.00. Clearly written on the contract it says " 5 yr. Parts & labor"
August the motor went out, I contacted the phone number listed on my contract. I explained the problem that I was having. They said they could come out and take a look.

The motor was under warranty but I would be charged all labor costs that would be involved. Over $300.00. I said wait a minute, clearly on my signed contact it says " 5 yr. Parts & labor"

Then he explained that they were not the same company. Funny I said... You have the same phone number, except for the area code change and you have the "Don't Sweat It" logo name on your new named company web page. Which happens to also be on my contract from 1988.

We around & around about it's a different company and they just aquired my account. I said "Oh" you can aquire accounts when it's "in your interest" but not when it is. I asked for their address and he started giving me a PO BOX. I said no, I want your physical address. I never got it.

I asked for names of other managers he said they have the same feelings. He then hung up on me. And this company is an authorized Lennox Air dealer?
