Don Sessions - Employment Rights Attorney
Bait and Switch at the attorney's office

I made an appointment for a consultation with Don Sessions, an employee rights attorney in Mission Viejo, California to discuss my termination from my employment. When I made the appointment I was told it was $60.00 for a 1/2 - hour to 1 hour appointment. I specifically asked if the appointment was with Don Sessions and after the receptionist verified that he would be back from vacation on July 5th an appointment was scheduled for July 5th at 9:00.

At 9:00 I arrived and was given paperwork to fill out. I also paid the $60.00 for the consultation. At 9:15 a very young man came to introduce himself and said, "Don asked me to meet with you". I then told him I specifically had made the appointment with Don Sessions and was told my appointment was with him. He took me into an office and said that Don would "stop by later".

After explaining the case to the young assistant and presenting all of my paperwork. I was left to wait while he went to get Mr. Sessions. Mr. Sessions came into the office and stood while he told me that they were not interested in taking the case and that maybe another lawyer would be interested or I could file a claims in small court. I left the office without any more information that I came in with. It was obvious that he was not interested in the case because the claim was not in the three figures. When I attempted to get more information from him he said, "I am just repeating myself" and the appointment ended.

I would not recommend this attorney to anyone in the future. I paid $60.00 basically to be "interviewed" as a potential way for them to make money. I was promised an 1/2 - 1 hour appointment with Mr. Sessions and when I arrived it was switched to a young associate. It was a waste of my time and my money.
