Complained about getting wrong flowers then they fraudulently ordered more flowers and charged my debit card without my knowledge or permission!

My husband ordered flowers for me on 6/20 from 1800flowers as it was our 26th anniversary. He ordered 1 dozen long stemmed roses, I received a mixed flower arrangement. After calling (Allison, Shirley) the florist shop that delivered the flowers: Unique Floral Creations in Brandon Florida twice, they told me to call 1800flowers about this mix-up. Janice at 1800flowers told me they would redeliver the flowers, also they wanted me to give back the original arrangement they delivered. I said fine. They did not deliver any flowers or call me.

On 6-30-07 we received a bill for the flowers for $84.50 thru a place called "Bill Me Later". I called customer service at 1800flowers to complain about the cost for the flowers because they were not the ones my husband ordered, Eric said they would, again, resend the roses and give me a 20% discount off the original cost for the mix up and that was all they could do. I agreed to this and hung up.

I then happened to be looking at my email and noticed an email confirmation from 1800flowers, it was confirming an order I had made that day? The order was to go to my mother-in-law for a dozen roses to a hospital in Ohio? I didn't make an order? Besides my mother-in-law had died on Good Friday this year... So someone had screwed up!?

I called 1800flowers again. After talking to David he directed me to Chris who was the supervisor he said he didn't know where the order came from but someone had called it in that day at 2:05 pm, well I was on the phone with them at that time! He said that he would cancel the order to my (deceased) mother-in-law, I asked would I be charged and he said no (Lie). He then said that as far as the order my husband had sent to me for our anniversary my husband needed to call them to complain, I reluctantly said okay after saying: This is not good customer service, you tell me to do this after all you have put me thru? I had already been assured that the flowers would be resent and I would get 20% off the order from the 20th of June and now Chris said he would not honor that either. I had already talked to about 6 different people! I also asked if my husband needed to ask for him, he said no anyone would do!!! Not good customer service, that means explaining the whole story over and over again and the story had become complicated!!!

My husband called 1800flowers from his work and got a supervisor by the name of Shannon after having to talk to a Toni. Shannon said the order to his (deceased) mother had been cancelled and that our checking acct had already been credited for it. We didn't know that we also had been charged for this fraudulent order until I looked at our bank acct online? She also said she would send us a gift certificate (of how much and why would I want to order from them ever again?) for all the trouble but nothing could be done about the wrong flowers that was sent to me.

We still have a charge of $67.70 in our checking for the fraudulent flower order to my husband's deceased mother.

They have a guarantee on their site that says they will give a refund if your unhappy with your order?!

I do not know how they got my debit card number nor does my husband as his original order was paid thru "Bill Me Later" which is not a credit card. I have also contacted the BBB about this... Stay tuned.
