Bad practices deceiving innocent customers ripoff

Vonage scams innocent customers. Vonage not only sucks it makes money on bad practices. We want to move to another VOIP after one year of service. There were two reasons. One they say $24.95 but comes to 31.37 with all taxes. Also, the quality of the voice was poor and always the listeners complained that I was breaking up.
When we contacted Optimum voice to change our service, Vonage did not release the account details to Optimum Voice. Atlast after 4th attempt, after giving a fax of our account page to Optimum and we insisted optimum to make sure Vaonage releases the details. At last after 3 months we got new service. When my wife called the Vonage to cancel the account the customer service person did not close and tried to offer one free month. My wife insisted to close the account, Vonage representative insisted my wife to call on 23rd the due date. My wife forgot to call but I see an entry in our credit card on 6/27/08 for one more month. When my wife called on 6/28/07 they passed one more day saying that their systems were down. Today 6/29/07 my wife called and closed the account. Now, Vonage do not want to give the credit for one month as my wife failed to call Vonage exactly on due date 6/23/07 due date. These are the bad practices of Vonage. Vonage scams innocent people for their hard earned money. I would suggest every one to stay away from Vonage.
