Ripoff, issued partial refund which bounced, phones and website are down

I hired Careerlead.com/Ostrowe & Associates to assist with my job hunting. They offered to work with me to develop a resume and they would write a coverletter to send out to prospective employers on my behalf. The were to mail to 300 company executives to introduce me and endorse me and I thought make follow up phone calls. It was not disclosed to me until after I paid them $1800 that I was to do the follow up phone calls to the executives who were previously mailed to.instead of the process taking 3 weeks to complete... It took them 3 months. I complained to the sales rep several times that I wasn't happy. The didn't mail out the number of letters promised, didn't follow up with phone calls and of the 200 letters that were mailed out, I only received one positive inquiry about possible employment. I expressed my dissatifaction on several occaisions and requested a refund. Finally, we agreed that they would refund me $425. I had to sign a release in order to get the funds. I received a check and thought at least I had cut my losses somewhat. Much to my surprise... Today, I got a notice from my bank that the check was returned and they subtracted $425 from my account. I immediately went to the website, which has been taken down and then called the 2 phone numbers that I had for representatives from Careerlead that I had worked with. Both numbers had been disconnected.
