Liars and incompetent customer service - evil corporate greed at its worst ripoff

I had a prepaid T-Mobile Sidekick2 account for about a year, then I had to travel out of state to care for a relative that is terminally ill. T-mobile does NOT have any coverage in the area I was. On previous inquiries to T-Mobile I was told "the reason there was no service in this area is because they use Cingular's towers which are located many miles from my location".

I kept my account active for several months while all the while being unable to get service or make any calls, and being charged $1 per day for the Sickekick plan which I could not even use as there was no coverage.

In February of this year I called T-Mobile and spoke to a (so-called) "customer care representative" and told her I would be returning to California in July, and asked if my account would still be ok without adding additional minutes until I returned to Calif. She said yes, and agreed that it was "pointless for me to pay for the service when I was in an area where they had no coverage". I was assured by her that my number would NOT be reassigned, and I believed her. I had that number for a long time and it was printed on my stationery, business cards, etc. It turns out she was not telling me the truth at all, my number has already been given away to someone else and my tmail account was also terminated.

This is a prime example of a truly evil and heartless corporation that is only concerned with relentless greed while providing horrible service. T-Mobile has a complete lack of caring for their customers and they hire incompetent customer service people who will lie and tell you anything over the phone just so they can move on to the next call and lie some more. I plan on filing a lawsuit against them and would NEVER EVER recommend T-Mobile to anyone.

It is lying, ripoff corporations like T-Mobile who are only in business to screw over their customers every chance they get.
