Customer Service Representative

I received a letter saying that I was selected to become on of their customer service rep's. There was a check enclosed, for 3,577.00, and a breakdown on how to use it.
Sears purchase...$50.00
K mart purchase...$40.00
Western Union transfew.$2978.00
Service charge for the transfer...$159.00
Training and evaluation pay...$350.00
Total...$3577.00

It said to call once the check was received and I would be given instuctions on exactly what to do. I did and took the check to the bank, on a saturday, it was deposited and held till monday.

I called the bank on monday, and they said the check was tracked as... Acct closed/cannot find acct #.. They originally said they would mail me back the check, but called backe and said it was a police matter.

I of course have called this company back several times, left several messages, and when someone does answer, it seems to be the same man that first told me there were so many people working there that if I had any problems, just talk to who ever answered. I called back and told him of the check problem and he told me that had to be a mistake, and to fax all the info to him, well I called back to tell him, what I found out, and it was the same man, when I told him about the check not being returned to me, he told me to f... Off!!!

Now I owe my bank money, and am sure nothing will be done. This place needs to be stopped, it is certain to be a scam. I would like anyone that gets a letter like this, to please destroy it right away. I dont know how many people they have hurt, but not my bank account is in trouble.

The original letter had my name and address hand written, and was post marked form Canada, the check was from... Dicaperl Minerals Corp., in Bala Cynwyd, PA. Please dont let this happen to anyone else.
