Deceptive, false advertising, rude, dishonest, beware! Know what you are getting

I ordered a dj coffin case from prodjcases.com. I wasn't sure if ordering from these guys was good idea considering how crappy their website looks but seeing that they are running it from yahoo stores i thought i could trust them.

I decided to buy from them seeing that the coffin they displayed was a really nice design that i have not found elsewhere. Well i ordered it and was anxious to get case but when i recieved it, i was quite disappointed. They say on their website that scratches and so were part of the production process but this was ridiculous. The case was totally beat up.

These weren't just small scratches but big ones and all over the box and also big dents. The metal corners of the case were also beat up, I'm positive they salvaged some parts from an old case and reused it because it was definitely not new and you can see how it was re-hammered back to shape.

The inside was suppose to be made to fit my dj system but it didn't fit nicely. Also the black covering they used looked weather beaten like it was 10 years old. It was a faded black. I also believe the metal corners were installed incorrectly. They placed them on the wrong side of the casing.

When i contacted them about this to see how they would fix these problems. They tried to brush me off. First they said they didn't know what I was talking about and that i needed to elaborate on the issue. I responded in more detail and they said the same thing.

Finally they responded and said why do i even need the top of the case once I take it off, which is besides the point. Still they haven't replied anything to help the matter. Then when i said they better respond or i will take this in another direction they got mad and started threating me with lawyers.

I realized these guys were just not going to do anything about the problem and that i just got screwed. The reason i figured was that prodjcases.com is just an affiliate of procases.com, the manufacturer of the cases.
They probably have no idea what goes on with procases.com and could care less as long as they got their money. So they don't want to deal with the hassle of a return or exchange because they have to talk to procases.com which they really have no control over as an affiliate. But this is funny considering this quote from their site

"At Pro DJ Case we strive to provide our customers with the highest level of customer care and to always provide the highest QUALITY Protective DJ Cases at the most competitive prices."

In the end i told them send me some new pieces of foam lining the inside which didn't fit correctly and they did send this. I have to say that the case was a nice design which i liked but the production quality just really kills it. They have something good going but they screw it over by giving you something that looks and probably is used. Just be aware if you buy from prodjcases.com that the product you recieve will not be what you expect and any effort to resolve issues with the product will be futile.
