Ruined my career through false promises, never got paychecks

I am glad I did reasearch on Advantage and read all of your stories. I too, was deceived in for coming for the 2nd interview. This was like any other interview. No interview questions were asked. We drove like 50 miles away from the office in the most distigusting car - i mean there was old food in the back seat - i was afraid to get my new suite dirty, got lost for 2 hours and then walked around in the rain for another 6 hours be a door to door salesman.

The person interviewing me was some skinny guy who was very sketchy. He was pushing people into sales and actually made me pretend i was a customer after the customer said no because he was afraid he wansnt go to hit his goals. He said they work with Fortune 100 companies, but what I cant understand is how any big company like ATT would have these people lie and make up fake customers to represent their name. THe whole day was very weird. I requested to bring me back to the office but they reassured me i would change my mind at luinch around 3. So i waited but we didnt have lunch until 700pm where my interviewer met up with his friends at the company at a bar near the office and they continued to drink beer before brining me back to the office to meet with danata.

I was told on the way home that it was very easy and i would be a millionaire in 3 months time. I asked about base pay - none, benefits-none, time off-none, you dont even get reimbursed miles and the interviewer said he puts over 1000 miles on his car in a weeks time.

This sounded like slave labor to me. The worst part is you work 6 days a week crazy hours. The only day to yourself is sunday. I dont mind working hard and long days but when i dont get paid in money or other stock option i find that hard for anyone to be motivated when the basic bills cant be paid.
